Bibby Leasing sponsor CEDA award
Bibby Leasing sponsored a new category at this summer’s Catering Equipment Distributors Association (CEDA) Annual Conference near Silverstone in Northamptonshire.
The new ‘Small Projects Award’ for cost and private sectors was presented by Bibby Leasing MD Carol Roberts to winners C&C Catering Equipment Ltd in the profit sector category, and Airedale Group for the cost sector category.
Bibby Leasing, and formerly Leeds Leasing, have been active Associate members of CEDA for over 10 years.
The annual conference brings together manufacturers, equipment dealers, trade press and others from within this £1billion pound industry every year and provides an excellent networking platform.
The Association brings together over 70 established equipment dealers from all over the UK as well as associate members from peripheral sectors that support the catering and hospitality industry.
Bibby Leasing are the only finance company within CEDA and their 27 years experience in supporting the sector provides them with unique opportunities to help members with their customer lease requirements whilst at the same time providing Bibby with excellent exposure within this vibrant industry.
Members adhere to rigid codes of practice and service requirements and only after an appropriate vetting process are they permitted to become members and display the CEDA logo.
The highlight of the three-day event is the industry Grand Prix awards that over the years has boasted such projects by members as new kitchen and catering facilities for the House of Lords and Old Trafford as well as other major private and municipal masterpieces.
Members are invited to enter projects undertaken during the previous year and then have them judged by industry specialists, the winners receiving industry accolades and the obvious trade and industry exposure for their company.
The Bibby brand is well recognised now within the catering sector and Bibby Leasing are already looking forward to next year’s event at Carden Park, near Chester.
