We believe in providing our graduates with opportunities to help make a positive contribution to the Group, to take on real responsibilities in a challenging role. We don’t believe that our talented graduates should be spending their 12 month placement simply job shadowing and observing. Bibby graduates ‘get stuck in’.
Throughout the graduate programme we will provide you with the relevant tools, so you can really get to grips with all aspects of the Bibby Financial Services business.
After an intensive induction, you will experience a number of months in a client focused role within our operations department, followed by time working in our fast paced sales environment where you will use your knowledge and expertise to sell our extensive range of funding solutions to UK businesses. After your initial 12 month placement you will be ready to join one of our UK or global companies in a real job with real responsibility.
The placement lengths are flexible; we pride ourselves on adapting the scheme to meet yours and the business needs.
Initially you will be based at one of the Group’s 15 UK companies where a mentor will be appointed to help nurture your development as well as provide coaching and support. However, if international travel appeals to you there are also opportunities for secondments to one of our global companies throughout Europe, India, USA and Australia.
Flexibility is a key element of Bibby Financial Services and even though our graduate programme has a timetable we believe your development is as much up to you (how much responsibility you want and where you are willing to travel to) as it is to us. A number of our Graduate Trainees have been promoted within the first few months of the scheme; Bibby really believe in giving you opportunities, can you rise to the challenge?
Training and developing our people has been crucial to our impressive track record of promoting senior managers from within and as one of our graduates you will receive training on management skills, have a personal development plan, be set challenging objectives and have regular reviews with your line manager and HR Adviser. In addition you will also be expected to study for our industry’s professional qualification with the Asset Based Finance Association (ABFA), formally known as the FDA.
